I know my day pretty much always instantly gets better when I learn of a new Bassnectar tune. Well today, the bass lord unleashed his latest remix. Don’t necessarily expect a massive bass assault on your eardrums from this one though. Instead, Nectar seems to get back to more of his classic breakbeat feel. The track has a very jungle-y tone, with deep aggressive wobbles that call attention to the presence of bass within the track while also being careful enough not to jam it down the listener’s throat. The final result is a track that lands somewhere between chill and banger, but stands as a wonderful listen regardless of classification.
